By accessing or using Critical Path Academy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Critical Path Academy provides PMP® exam preparation materials, including practice questions, mock exams, and educational course content. The Service is designed to help candidates prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam administered by PMI.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must:

• Create an account with accurate information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Not share your account credentials with others

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share, distribute, or sell any content from the Service
• Use automated tools to extract or scrape content
• Submit real PMP® exam questions or brain dump content
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent access limits
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

5. Intellectual Property

All content, including questions, explanations, course materials, and software, is the intellectual property of Critical Path Academy or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for personal exam preparation only.

6. Payment and Billing

• All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• One-time payments grant access for the stated duration
• Access expires at the end of the paid period
• No automatic renewals or recurring charges

8. Content Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees that our content:

• Reflects the exact content or format of the actual PMP® exam
• Will result in passing the PMP® exam
• Is error-free or complete

Users are encouraged to report any errors through the "Report this question" feature.

9. PMI Relationship

Critical Path Academy is an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI®). "PMP" is a registered mark of PMI.

10. 35-Hour Course Certificate

Our 35-hour course is designed to meet PMI's requirements for contact hours. However:

• PMI does not pre-approve training providers
• Acceptance of contact hours is determined by PMI during application review or audit
• We provide documentation to support your claim but cannot guarantee PMI acceptance
• Seat time tracking and completion requirements must be met to receive a certificate

11. User-Generated Content

By flagging questions or submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Service.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, including:

• Sharing account credentials
• Attempting to extract content
• Submitting real exam questions
• Abusing the refund policy

14. Limitation of Liability

Critical Path Academy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Failure to pass the PMP® exam
• PMI rejection of contact hours
• Loss of data or access disruptions
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
